House of Blues Houston opened in October of 2008 and is located in downtown Houston. The only House of Blues to be designed in a vertical format, this massive venue is the anchor for the Houston Pavilions outdoor shopping and entertainment complex. The Bronze Peacock Room pays tribute to Houston's first blues club where Big Momma Thornton and Lightnin' Hopkins played.
